Boulder, Colorado – Ricoh has laid off workers at its Boulder facility.
The company has not disclosed the number of employees laid off, but Peter Lazaroff, spokesman for Ricoh Production Print Solutions, said it will announce it soon. The layoffs come as a result of the company’s effort to stay profitable. Ricoh has not filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification notice with the Colorado Department of Labor yet. Under the federal WARN Act, employers are required to report mass layoffs and site closures to state departments. Ricoh had about 700 employees in its Boulder facility as of July 2010.
